Since
1917, Lions have served the world's population through hard work and commitment
to make a difference in the lives of people everywhere. With 1,436,487
members serving in more 44,500 clubs in over 180 countries and areas,
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization.
Lions are recognized worldwide for their service to the blind and visually
impaired.

Dushore Lions Halloween Parade
A long-standing Dushore tradition, with prizes to the best costumes and
candy and fun for all...
Breakfast with Santa
With help from the Dushore Fire Company, the Dushore Lions have been able
to reserve a space on Santa's busy calendar for the area's children to
discuss their Christmas lists, and enjoy a free breakfast (for the kids)
at the Dushore Hotel.
Founder's Day Basketball Tournament
The Lions sponsor a 3 on 3 basketball tournament which is an exciting
display of talent, with prizes to the champions and t-shirts to all participants.
Blue and Gold Banquet
The Lions Club has financed this annual dinner honoring the area's Cub
Scouts and their parents.
Lions Club Scholarships
The Dushore Lions provide $1,000 toward college expenses for one Sullivan
County High School senior each year.
Dushore Dairy Parade and Milking Contest
The Dushore Lions Club has traditionally supported the June Dairy Parade
in Dushore, and the Lions Club is the Official sponsor of the world-renowned
cow and goat milking contests which follow the parade.
Bloodmobile
The Lions Club donates funds to help bring the bloodmobile to Dushore
once a year.
Vision Care
The Dushore Lions Club maintains an Eye Fund, which allows local residents
who cannot afford eye care to purchase corrective lenses and other prescription
eyewear.

Boy Scouts Of America
Dushore Lions Club is the spnsoring organization for Troop 48, the Dushore
Boy Scout Troop.
Girl Scouts Of America
This past year, the Dushore Lions Club donated $1,000 to the area Girl
Scouts to help finance a trip to Georgia.
Youth Soccer
Dushore Lions have supported the AYSO program in Sullivan County through
financial contributions, most recently the Lions purchased two sets of
goals for the AYSO program.
